AI security reporting for hotels

AI is useful in security documentation for exactly one reason: it removes the writing burden without removing the officer's account. It becomes dangerous the moment it starts filling gaps. This page describes what the assistant does in this product and, more importantly, what it is not allowed to do.

What the assistant does

It takes an officer's spoken or typed account and returns it in the structure a hotel security report needs.

  • Separates facts from actions taken and from recommended follow-up
  • Places what was reported into the right fields instead of a wall of text
  • Lists what is missing so a supervisor knows what to ask
  • Answers procedure questions from the documents your property uploaded, with citations

What it is not allowed to do

These limits are part of the product, not settings.

  • No invented names, times, causes, motives or outcomes
  • No legal conclusions and no assignment of blame
  • No answer about your procedures that is not grounded in your own uploaded documents
  • No sharing of one property's data with another property

Your procedures, your answers

You upload your own SOPs and house rules to your property workspace. Questions are answered from those documents, with the source shown, so an officer can check the original rather than trust a paraphrase.

Why the limits matter commercially

A security report is read by people who were not there — management, insurers, sometimes lawyers. Documentation that contains a plausible but unreported detail is worse than documentation with an acknowledged gap.

Questions teams ask before starting

Is guest data sent to a third party?

Report text is processed to produce the structured report. Details of processing and data handling are set out in the privacy and data-processing documentation.

Can the assistant answer from our own procedures?

Yes, from the documents your property uploads, and answers cite the source document.

Does the AI decide the severity for us?

It proposes a structure based on what was reported. Your supervisor reviews and can change any field before the report is closed.
